yupe, I got a new car. We got our Saturn VUE paid off and were in need of a new car since Randy and I both work full time, we each need something reliable.
We have this old, green Saturn that currently needs some major work if it's going to stay afloat. We opted to take the new car route and bought a Saturn Aura. Looks just like the picture but we let Boston choose the color and he selected black, so there ya have it.
It's the nicest car I've ever had. It's fast and smells like it just rolled off the factory floor, so needless to say, I'm a happy girl.
Randy wanted to know why wives got to drive the nice cars in a family. I explained it comes with having to do all the housework. He hasn't commented since but is happy when he gets to take it out for a whirl.
ps, yes, we are a Saturn family. We love the company and think they make great cars. They really are just like their commercials. When I got home today, they had sent an edible cookie card as a thank-you. That's worth it right there.

Saw your post in a google search - just to read what others have to say about their Saturn Auras.
You didn't mention if you bought a Aura XE or XR, but both are great. I bought a dark red XE back in October and am VERY happy with it. Lots of options so inside is about as nice as the XRs.
This is my 3rd Saturn and although it's a bit harder on gas in the city (understandable since the others were V4s and this is a heavier V6) but it's very good on the highway both in gas and - especially - ride quality. The double paned glass and various noise deadening insulation makes a huge difference in how quiet it rides.
Anyways, just a quick note from a fellow Aura owner. :)
