It finally happened...our fridge of 7 years has left this life.
It was a lemon and we had it fixed 3 times, but it's still a sad day (for our wallet).
We can't get the fridge any cooler than about 45-50F and that is much too warm for milk and anything else you don't want to grow bacteria.
I refused to have it serviced again. We've spent enough in service bills.
I can't even tell you how much of a "Mom" I felt like at Sears yesterday. We chose the fridge we wanted, applied for credit (post-adoption, no-choice option) and discussed warranty options.
I just thought to myself, "It's finally arrived, I am an adult".
Boston wanted to get one of the new bonus features and have a TV right in the fridge door.
ok, like that's gonna happen. And who knew that for an extra 3 grand, you can pull up a bar stool and watch a DVD. Right there in the kitchen. wow, that's necessary.
And why do men think that large appliance purchases are "gifts" for the woman. It's like saying to a man, "here honey, here's a new trash can, Merry Christmas (early)".
I don't get it. but whatever. It's a large purchase that we were not expecting and it is what it is.
I'll be happier tomorrow.
