Happy 6th.

Happy Birthday Boston
6 years old, huh.

I know it's a couple weeks early, but your father could not wait to buy you this. Then he only waited 2 days after buying it to give it to you. I think he figures the entire month of March is alright for birthday gifts.

Ever since you were able to speak the word "motorcycle", Dad has wanted to buy you one. I'm surprised he waited this long. In his younger days, Dad worked at a motorbike school in California, so I am anticipating a race track in your near future.
I'm glad that the two of you have found something of mutual interest.

You deserve it. You work hard to make us happy and have been such a good kid this year.
You must be a little saint with budding angel wings to withstand everything.

This past year has had it's challenges.
Your Dad and I had somewhat of a rough spot last summer and then he lost his job.
You were a real trooper, even though you were so stressed and worried you developed a facial tick. Sorry about that.

Are you happy? I'm happy. You make me happy.

There have never been 2 boys more appreciated than you and your brother. You are still an amazing gift that came to me because I never stopped believing in the goodness of the world.

I love you. Even when you put stickers on the wall, or when you can't remember where any of your jackets are, and even when your ball "accidently" breaks the ceiling fan in the kitchen.

There is nothing you could do that would make me love you any less. Honest.

Happy Birthday to the sweetest 6 year old this side of the Mississippi.

xoxo
Mom
