This is gonna be great...

There are no presents under the tree...yet. Boston is anxiously awaiting. He is asking. He is begging. The neighbor gave us a gift, probably because she thought we needed a sub for Santa this year but really we just don't think putting presents under there early is a wise decision. It's probably just cuz at 3 years old, "waiting" is a swear word that brings much protesting and deep sorrow. Well, he begged and pleaded to please be able to open the 1 present that the neighbors brought over.
So I let him.
He sits down, puts the present on his lap and as he goes to tear the wrapping off the first one, he proclaims, "This is gonna be great". And it was, 3 train books are always great to a fanatical train lover. He was in early Christmas gift heaven.
I think I'm all ready. I'm done buying. Sure, I could buy more, but why? We all are getting lots of good gifts and to be honest, we are overloaded with stuff in our house anyway. It didn't stop me from stopping by Barnes and Noble today for some books I thought my brother "needed" to have Christmas morning in his stocking. oops, forgot to get a stocking for him. I'll just throw a red bow on a wal-mart bag, hang it next to ours and call it good. As long as there is stuff inside, he won't care.
We are having our third holiday party at work today. gotta love it.
