Boston loved Christmas morning. He woke up very excited and upon seeing the mountain of gifts under the tree exclaimed, "Santa brought too much". He won't be thinking that in years to come.
Every day since, he wakes up and runs downstairs to check for Santa, to see if "more presents are under the tree". Too bad time goes so slow for kids, cuz this is gonna be a long year. We even put away the tree on New Years Day and he still checks.
For my new years resolution, I've vowed to loose weight. I can't take it. My fat pants are tight. I joined Weight Watchers. I don't mind weight watchers. I think it's kinda fun to count the points, add them up and see how you did at the end of the day. I was right there, ready to sign up on Tuesday morning. While at the counter registering my fatness, I hear my name..."Laura...". ugh, who is recognizing me at weight watchers but it was my good friend Amy who lives down the street. She makes me smile and we laughed and encouraged eachother.
So yesterday, I'm telling another neighbor (actually ex-neighbor as she just moved but stopped by to say hi) that I saw Amy at Weight Watchers and that I had gone and registered, etc. which at that point immediately reminds her, (get this), that she "still hasn't seen the end of the biggest looser". hmmm, not really something you want to remind someone of. Pretty sure that it wasn't a compliment.
On a happier note, already this year, I've cleaned out the garage, cleaned out Boston's room, cleaned and re-arranged the front room and threatened to divorce dear husband at Panda Express over chicken and mushrooms (3 points). Not a bad start.
Happy days to come.
