I spent about 5 hours last night organizing photos, both digital and film. I backed up all the photos I had on the computer on to CDs and organzied all my back up discs by date. Pretty cool.
Then, as if that wasn't enough to learn how to export from aperture and burn on my imac, I went searching the crawl space for all my film photos, starting with when Boston was born.
I had a lot of film pics of him and us in general and sorted once again by date. I was so fun to go through those old baby pictures. I was in the living room and Randy was watching TV next to me, so we just sat around and reminisced about how cute he was, how tiny he was, how fun he was. No one but actual parents can spend that much time looking at baby photos!
Anyway, I'm organized and it feels really great. I can now go through and get some prints made that I've been wanting for some time now.
I even organized all the prints I currently want to work with from mostly digital files. (wow, 5 hours well spent!). Once again, by date. So there you have it. I'm a well orgazined, well stocked scrapbooker. Nothing left to do now but scrapbook.
I need to get an external drive for back ups. Maybe for Valentines Day. Oh, that's right, the eye cream was for Valentines Day. Maybe for MOther's Day. How does it happen that I'm now one holiday early?

Guess what you are going to be doing at my house on friday?
Organizing MY photos.
Forgot to ask you...did you forget to wear your new miracle eye cream when Wendy met you, and thought you looked "tired?" Bwahahahaha!
Tell Randy Sam and I made up.
