Yupe, that's us. I've been sittin' down, layin' down and just plain restin' since my accident a couple weeks ago. I got hit up in SLC and have been trying to take it easy since.
Randy has been letting me sleep in and rest, what a good husband. I love hearing him play with Boston, he is so sweet and patient with Boston. The nice thing about Randy is he's game for just about anything. He builds forts and rides bikes and plays ball. The older Boston gets, the more he will appreciate having a Dad like that.
My sister, Allison, sent a belated birthday present to Boston. When Boston saw the package, he was so thrilled that he did a few leg lifts/kicks as to shake out some of the joy.
She sent a Thomas the Train tent that he loves. He and the neighbor kids can pick it up and walk under it and then he also loves to climb in it. Randy and I are to big for it, shucks.
Saturday we went to an Easter egg hunt at church. It was good to see some of the ladies from the neigborhood. We all get so busy, that I was happy to visit with them.
Sunday I took pictures of all the little kids in preperation for Mothers Day this year. The kids were fun and some of the older ones cracked me up.
It was a little cool and kinda rainy so we had Boston's egg hunt in the front room. We hid real eggs and plastic eggs but Boston thought the real ones were gross. If he saw a real one, he would just leave it there, it didn't get a space in his basket unless it was plastic and made noise when shaken.
Landon has been working on my yard for a week straight, what a good brother.
We had some sprinklers bust this winter, so it was a major job to dig up one of the main boxes to repair a main line and then repair the other two heads that were broken in the yard as well. Not to mention the edging, the weeding and the planting he did. He's a good brother to me and I'm glad to have him in Utah.
We are hopeful that this little corner of our yard will grow grass...we've planted seed there a couple times in the past but this time, I think we have it right. I can only hope for the best.
