Listen Up: Public Announcement

We went to see Transformers tonight.
We thought the trailers were kinda cool but mostly we both just wanted to see a good 4th of July flick.
Boy, were we surprised.
No, really, were we surprised.
That movie has got to be one of the best action movies to grace the silver screen.
Randy and I were trying to decide what made the movie so great, I mean, it had the token hot chick, the hard core rocker tunes for the car chase and lots of guns going off but something about that movie was hot.
I can't really figure it out because I was never into transformers. I was never into army guys, I was barely into baby dolls that peed themselves.
Must have been the motion. Or the editing. Or the acting. The transformers were super coolio.
Whatever it was, it's a must see.
This is my prediction: run, don't walk to your local toy store to buy the transformer toys because if you are old enough to recall the cabbage patch craziness from the 80's....well, let's just say there weren't enough fabric dolls for middle class America.
If your kid is not cool and you want to elevate his standing in the neighborhood, get him one.
If you kid is already cool then watch out, he's gonna shoot to the top of the food chain.
I've already been to Wal-Mart and picked myself up a megatron.
