Anniversary TIme

Dear Friends and Family,

I wanted to take a minute and apologize if the last time you spoke to me, I cried, or screamed or told you how tired I was.

You will be happy to know that Randy and I are off to Las Vegas for the weekend.
It's our 9 year anniversary.

When we realized that we have never left our kids overnight we booked our hotel and started pulling in favors for babysitters.
My best friend from college is coming to watch the wee ones. She has no idea that watching my kids for the weekend will take the same strength and stamina as many Olympic Athletes have demonstrated these recent days in Beijing.

For our celebration, we will be enjoying 2 nights at the Rio in Las Vegas.
No kids.
No dishes.
No laundry.
No mickey pancakes with syrup for dipping.
No interruptions.
Did I mention no kids?

Do you know what that means?
I will not be woken up at 3 am to make a bottle and then again at 7 to turn on a Clifford the big red dog. I can't stand that giant abnormality at 7am.

I get to sleep in. Heck, I get to sleep. Period.

The stars have aligned and blessed me. They have rewarded me with free cheap drinks, the sound of electronic winnings and Thunder Down Under.
