Randy and the Goliath

Randy has been loosing weight and training hard core to compete again. Back in the day, he was quite the fighter. He has a purple belt in Jiu Jitsu and to add to his bag of tricks, he just started Judo.

A few weeks ago, he found a local competition and registered. It was a fairly small competition, and due to size issues, his only opponent was this guy.
What in the name of all that's holy. I would have gone running, screaming like the girl I am if I knew this guy was going for my neck.

This is the point of the story where I would like to say that my fierce and dangerous husband kicked this guy's toosh.

Boston was sorely disappointed to discover his Dad actually has limitations on who he can beat up, contrary to the smack he's been talking around the neighborhood.
"oh yea, my dad does Jiu Jitsu and can beat up your Dad, I'll go and get him".

I'm pretty sure this guy is a professional fighter and doesn't have to get up every other night with a baby. He's nobody's daddy and therefore does not qualify for Boston's sweeping generalization.

Nonetheless, Boston was peeved.
Goliath is proud as punch.
Randy's just happy he's not in an ambulance.

Randy did take second place and got a shiny goldish medal that hangs nicely around his neck. Boston waves it proudly at the local pedestrians and tells the story of the day his Daddy took second place.

I know I'm making light, but in all sincerity...
Good job honey, for setting a goal and making it happen. You did good.

Congrats to Randy!
I am so sad I haven't seen you in a long time. Run away with Shaunte and me!
