This last weekend was all about being outside. Aundrea and I painted the door trims and I painted the front door and shutters a mocha brown. I should have taken before and after pictures because it's amazing what a $10 can of paint will do to your house.
Boston wanted to help, so we convinced him that painiting the rocks out front was helping and he seemed to really love it. He loves to help, especially with yard work and I got a great pic of him with gardening gloves on, ready to pull weeds as tall as he is but he's always up for the task.
I asked my neighbor, Stephanie, to come over and give me some advice on landscaping. She has a gorgeous yard and seems to really know what she is doing. She started naming plants that would look good here and there. Being as clueless as I am with the outdoors, I had to get a pen and paper to write it all down. She make the comment that, "you can do this, you do great scrapbooking" but alas, it's not the same and a great 12"x12" scrapbook page seems like an easy task compared to a fifth of an acre.
