I LOVE Sundays. I love how quiet the neighborhood is. I love that I feel good about relaxing. I love spending time with Boston and Drea, doing nothing in particular.
I scrapbook on Sundays, and it's so relaxing and fun for me that it gets counted as down time as well.
We did clean up a little, but only because we got a phone call that Dad was on his way in from California, so I thought I should alteast vacuum, but I refused to do anything else. Dad had not seen my new kitchen and front room floors, so I was excited when he got here. He really liked them.
We'll be starting the downstairs bathroom. It shoudl be an adventure. Dad has it all planned out.
Boston was a love today. He played outside with Emma most of the afternoon. Dad brought him a remote controlled helicopter and I couldn't get it to work well, so we had to wait till Randy got home. All was well then. Randy does better with toys and getting them to work properly.
Randy took Boston to pick out a toy at Target and he got this really cool Star Wars gun that Randy taped to the front of his little bike. You could tell he felt really cool and went around making sure the other kids noticed the gun that was half as big as the bike he was riding. They noticed alright.
Drea is trying to decide if she wants to go home after the summer and stay for good or come back and continue to live iwth us. She is torn because she misses her Mom. Of course friends and cute boys have a lot to do with the decision, so we'll see how it all plays out shortly.
How could I forget...MI-III was awesome. I loved it. I'm sure I'll need to own it as soon as it comes out on DVD. I liked it better than the last one. It's a must see, again, for me.
